"Joy Ride" on exhibit
My favorite time of year in Winter Garden is when the wisteria are blooming, the air is fresh, and everyone seems to be outside. And when people are outside, they bring their dogs! The West Orange Trail runs through the heart of town, so this scene combines all the things I love.
I started this watercolor painting months earlier, then set it aside for awhile as I worked on other things (but never forgot about it!) Finally, this funny, joyful illustration was up on display this summer at the SOBO art gallery in Winter Garden until it sold. I like to imagine it bringing a smile to it's owner in its new home.
